2003 AABA State Champions

Gators Win Junior Major and Minor

This is the first time in AABA history that a team has won the major and minor tournaments in the same year.

Majors

After beating the Wolverines from Perryville and Scissons from Dover, the Gators Junior major team lost their 3rd game to MP Productions from Hwy 10. They beat Plumerville and the Royals from Morrilton to set up a rematch with MP Productions who had lost to the Dodgers from Burns Park. They beat MP in the loser's bracket finale to set up the championship with the Dodgers. The Gators beat the Dodgers 2 games in a row to win the championship

Minors

After beating the Razorbacks from Sardis and Guy, the Gators Junior minor team lost their 3rd game to the Good Earth A's from Hwy 10. They beat the Eagles from Greers Ferry and the Rockhounds from Arch St. In the loser's bracket final they beat the Reds from Burns Park to set up the championship with the Good Earth A's. The Gators beat the Good Earth A's 2 games in a row to win the championship.
