Our instructional league is divided into three leagues.

1) - Boys Pitching Machine League - For boys ages 5 1/2 - 6. This league is just like real baseball. A pitching machine throws a soft baseball size ball. There is a catcher, infielders, and outfielders. When a player hits a ball, he runs the bases until an infielder has control of the ball. On a missed ball the catcher has to throw the ball back to the pitcher (The catcher wears full catchers gear) and players on base can steal, except they cannot steal home. The games last appx. 1 hour and they play 2 games per week. All games are played at our park. Games begin in late April. All players play.

2) - Girls 6 and Under Softball - For girls ages 5 1/2 - 6. This league is like real softball. A coach pitches a soft softball size ball.  This league's games are played at our park and other parks in Pulaski and Saline Countys. The games last appx. 1 hour and they play 2 games per week. Games begin in late April. All players play.

3) - Instructional T-Ball - For boys and girls ages 4 and 5. A coach pitches a very soft baseball size ball. If the player has not hit the ball after 4 pitches, it is placed on a tee. The player gets 2 swings at the ball on the tee. Each player on a team bats and then the teams switch and the other team bats. This is done twice and then the game is over. All games are played at our park. Games last appx. 1 hour and they play 2 games per week. Games begin early May. All players play.
